H&V’s fuel filtration media can provide filtration efficiency of up to 99.5% for particles over 4 microns and can achieve more than 150g/m2 of dust-holding capacity at most efficiencies. Consumers are turning to more efficient diesel engines to save money at the fuel pump. The newest diesel engine systems require cutting-edge filtration technology to meet strict government emission and fuel efficiency limits. As a leading supplier of fuel filtration media, H&V provides solutions for the greatest fuel filtration challenges. • New glass-free H&V media addresses the growing number of water separation challenges due to increased use of bio-fuels and lower IFT (interfacial tensions). Our media meet the 95% separation requirements even with IFTs below 16. H&V provides filtration media for virtually all fuel applications including diesel, bio-fuels, kerosene, jet fuel, and gasoline. As required by application needs, we combine coalescing layers with filtration layers using unique lamination technologies that deliver the longest life single stage products. Our products offer both single-phase and dual-phase technologies and are available in these broad construction families: • 100% synthetic, glass-free composite media with efficiencies up to 98% at 4 microns and superior 130g/m2 capacity • Dual-phase composite ultra-thin microglass media up to 99.5% efficient at 4 microns and up to 100g/m2 capacity • Dual-phase glass-free cost effective cellulose media up to 95% efficient at 4 microns with up to 50g/m2 capacity H&V continues to develop even more advanced composite media to meet the newest engine needs in regions where fuel is not meeting ISO 4406 world fuel cleanliness levels. Our newest design and manufacturing processes provide greater roll-to-roll and lot-to-lot consistency, giving you easier pleater set ups and a more optimized production process. With mills in the U.S., Mexico, Germany, U.K, and China, H&V provides globally consistent products and short supply-chain lead times.
